What is PPC and why is it important?
For starters PPC stands for Pay-Per-Click. It is a form of digital advertising businesses can use to drive traffic to their websites or online platforms. Advertisers pay each time one of their ads gets clicked by a user. This is done through advertisers bidding on keywords or phrases relevant to their target audience. When a user searches for those keywords or phrases, the advertisers' ad comes up. It's simple as that! Platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, are the most common platforms businesses use to advertise online. Here’s a list of three reasons why it’s important!
Old ways of advertising are just that…old. Before you advertised on a billboard, commercial, newspaper, flyer etc. But there were a lot of holes in businesses that couldn’t really measure performance or have control. But PPC covers that.
Instant results and I mean instant! Paid search campaigns can generate traffic and results quickly. As soon as you set up your campaign and it’s approved through Google’s guidelines your ads will start appearing in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Page).
Offers ways to measure and track performance. All platforms allow detailed data and analytics, allowing advertisers to track the performance of their campaigns in real-time. This data includes how often your ads were shown, which device it was shown on, which demographic did it reach, and how many users purchased the product or service or who opted in a email.
